My set up is like this:

#alias t1 {#var targetOne %1} "Targeting"
#alias t2 {#var targetTwo %1} "Targeting"
#alias t2 {#var targetThree %1} "Targeting"
#alias 1 {t @targetOne} "Targeting"
#alias 2 {t @targetTwo} "Targeting"
#alias 3 {t @targetThree} "Targeting"
#sta {@target 1:@targone 2:@targtwo 3:@targthree}

Usage:
t basic -> Sets @target to basic
t1 orc -> Sets @targetOne to orc
t2 goblin -> Sets @targetTwo to goblin

now, pressing 1 or 2 will change your target to orc or goblin
