But it is so freaking expensive to live there. I have a friend who moved from Colorado to Hawaii so I've spoke to her a lot about it. You are living with a roommate(s) unless you are rich or living in a shanty. If I could find affordable housing, I would most likely be there in a heartbeat. I think California is pretty damn expensive as well, unless I've been looking in the wrong areas. Which is why I'm asking, seeing if anyone knows of affordable areas around the more expensive ones that only locals know about.
