The original Diablo was somewhat dark and somewhat difficult. If you died, there were real consequences and you had to watch yourself. Now it's just sooo easy. There are ABSOLUTLY no consequences at all for dieing, and you pretty much just repop in the same area and continue. I find it hard to spend more time on it then just to beat the game. (which I have several times)

I still play it and I still support Blizzard, but I can honestly say that their games have gone downhill significantly. I was crazy pumped up for StarCraft 2 as well, and I have been sorely disappointed.

Their storylines, at one time, were really good and well thought-out. I remember actually taking the time to listen to the tomes that you would find in the original Diablo, and I still find the turning of Sarah Kerrigan to be a really emotional saga. Now the storylines are so blah. I can already tell exactly what's going to happen way before it ever does, and the dialogue in Diablo 3 (from the cinematics and such) is really just pathetic. Like I said, I wouldn't call it a 'bad' game because I took great joy in beating it and playing with my friends on PS3 (that was probably the most fun I had, just playing with 3 other people sitting next to me) but as far as I'm concerned their games have done nothing but go downhill since Warcraft 3. It's like they forgot that what brought people to the franchise was that their games were BETTER than the competition by far, but those days are ending.

I just bought Dark Souls 2 and I can tell you: It is AMAZING just how much better of a game it is, so far. It's hard, immersive, well thought-out, rewarding, the world they created is awe-inspiring, the dialogue is way way darker and much less 'blah' (I'm not saying it's amazing but the somber nature of the dialogue is refreshing from the almost comical lines from Diablo 3), the gameplay offers a rare chance for ones own skill to determine whether or not he/she is good (in other words you're not just pressing X over and over again and hoping you come out on top. In Dark Souls you have to be able to dodge and evade attacks well, or you're toast.)

I think if games like this continue to come out, I see no reason to continue to support Blizzard whose games are trending downward as opposed to upwards... Having said that, I believe I own every game Blizzard has made outside of Warcraft I, and WoW. So I hope you understand that it pains me that such a once awesome company is now putting out sub-par games.

Having said all that... I still might join your clan if you want me. I have a lvl 60 mage on both the PC and PS3 so let me know.

Quick P.S. I forgot to say that Dark Souls PVP aspect is also way way beyond that of Diablo 3's.
