This season, I'm using cheap composted manure with a raised box, and a wire fence around it to keep the dogs out. Water daily. Already have 3-foot-high tomatoes and lots of peppers. Also a tip:use thick gloves when trimming those palms. Thorns hurt. Ouch! (n/t)
