I was 'addicted' to it for many, many years. I gave it up about 3 years ago after realizing I was basically paying to be numbed, with no net benefit. I think at my peak, I would go through an oz a month with relative ease. Anyways, I have a circle of friends that very much so still partakes, and every single one of them will be quick to tell you "hey man, it's ok. It isn't addictive" which is just a flat-out lie.
