Nobody wanted to believe that and analyze things rationally, which is so very different.
Trump was campaining:
1. on change (see Obama's 2008 campaign)
2. as anti-establishment (which is a huge bonus if you can shrug off "incompetence" accusations, which Trump did well)
3. as a person with no government background hence NO relevant dirty laundry (Fucking some girls? Don't make me laugh, all guys want to, and all girls want to be.)
4. with strong support from national capital (fucking Dick Cheney endorsed Trump in May 2016, DICK CHENEY, CARL! How can one say he isn't supported by business after that?)
5. against a candidate who is so deeply compromised it's fucking hillarious
6. against a candidate who is a wife of a former president
7. against a candidate who was removed from the Secretary of State for being fucking incompetent
Basically the only way Trump could've lost was because of elections being heavily rigged, but republicans have almost the same level of control over elections as democrats that it couldn't have happened. By the way I was a little bit worried when they reported on unprecedented level of preliminary voting, because preliminary voting is the best way of rigging the elections (see latest Austrian elections for details). And U.S. voting system itself is like medieval, so that might have posed a problem, but in fact that should've been balanced by republicans having the same level of control over the procedures.
As for polling, as I've stated before, I have seen no polling with representative sampling. They all were bullshit like "CNN polling", "LA Times polling", "Shiny titties website polling" and that sort of shit. Those polls mean nothing because they are not representative. What I find amazing is amount of attention given to those shit pollings, considering the representative sampling for polling was FUCKING INVENTED IN AMERICA by George Gallup. Yet I've seen no representative polling with regard to elections (I can't say I was paying serious attention though). So basicly there were no polling data in the first place.
The funny thing is that when I was stating the same to people half a year ago, they all went "Oh bullshit, they'll push Hillary stop shitting me". And now all of them suckers owe me beer. The basis of analysis is logic, fucking logic. And if you don't like the results of your analysis or think it's wrong - suck it up and bear with it. It takes some courage to do so though.
