It's free and has variables and aliases. It even has a spiffy user interface on the alias system so you can group them and turn them on and off.

It uses lua for scripting which can be a little weird if you come from gmud but pm me and I will send you the bit for making your target setting alias then everything else is

Pattern ^alias$ and in the big box send ("command @ ..target)


Oh and look for mudlet.org. It really is spiffy and fully supports ludacris levels of scripting if you want to make shapaa 2.0, hell you can even have it make buttons for you so you could mud fully on a touch screen.
