Here we have this scientist offering his view point. (The Creator)

He makes computer models to show how it can be done. (Digital-Biomass)

He personally selects traits he wants in his digital organisms. (Divine Intervention.)

And he erroneously points out that evolution has no end game. It does have an End Game, survival, and that is the driving pressure in natural selection. I just thought it Ironic that he (Being a veritable god in his experiment) was the driving force in his digital evolution.

Who is to say that the Gene codes aren't Gods divine Algorithms and he's just waiting to see the ultimate life form evolve? (Man in his own Image/ Divine Ascension/etc.)
