If you're a regular there, you don't want to be seen by another regular as a pervert. That's how rumors get started. Just get some teepee, grab the magazine up and do everyone else a favor and throw it away.

The alternative, tell the next guy going in that there is a contaminated magazine, and that you are going to inform the employees of the bookstore, so that they can "properly" dispose of it... likely by getting teepee, picking it up, and throwing it in the trash.

Save everyone some time and just do the damn deed. There are worse things in this world.
