I'm not very good with economics, but didn't Reagan improve most facets of the US' economy?

January 16, 2008 12:48PM
I thought he'd pretty much improved things across the board, and although people have had plenty of gripes with his way of doing it - no one seemed able to refute that the numbers were looking better than under anyone elses reign.

Can anyone else shed light on this and explain a bit? Why hasn't the US made attempts to copy his success?

I stand incredibly impressed by how American writers/politicians have turned 'Libertarian' into an insult.

Yhorian(VIP) January 15, 2008 04:25PM

That's because most "libertarians" just want super-Reaganomics back.~

I'm talking solely about trickle-down theory and what it takes to achieve

ExPaladin(VIP) January 19, 2008 02:36PM

If you could devalue it more than it's now, I'd be impressed :P nt

ExPaladin(VIP) January 16, 2008 07:01AM

Those people need to stop being so anal.

Yhorian(VIP) January 16, 2008 10:16AM

I think you misunderstand the gist of what I said

ExPaladin(VIP) January 16, 2008 10:50AM

Any reason you're being pernickety? As stated in the actual post, nut jobs perpetrated the writings. nt

Yhorian(VIP) January 16, 2008 12:15PM

And to sympathise, here's how I read the title.

Yhorian(VIP) January 16, 2008 12:38PM

Way to backpeddle. The sentiment of your statement didn't express that. n/t

Because I know how low your level of comprehension is, my statement broken down.

I am incredibly amazed as to how the English are such fucktards

Lokain January 16, 2008 12:40PM

The active noun being 'English' there. Not 'Writers'. Wherein, you prove my point AND your stupidity. Bravo. nt

Yhorian(VIP) January 16, 2008 12:49PM

Wow

Lokain January 16, 2008 01:09PM

Come back when you can teach, and I'll learn. Until then just try to be average, mkay? nt

Do people like you exist in real life?

Lokain January 16, 2008 02:31PM

I wonder the same thing. He has to be rich, otherwise no way his shitty attitude would fly.

Labels don't mean anything in the US. A libertarian is a liberal is a conservative is a communist is a fascist. nt/

You can have freedom, or equality, but not both.

Sam January 15, 2008 05:53PM

In other news, Ron Paul being called 'an extreme libertarian' actually raised my opinion of him. Despite racism references. nt
