If you could guarantee that no one was going to pull up that thread, sure.

But the fact of the matter is, people search the archives. And there was no guarantee they wouldn't have found that post. Especially if they were looking for posts done by Pro a long while back to vet his latest line of bullshit. Which is, oddly enough, our most popular search to date!!
