That said, I had the previous Linksys one a few years ago (A/B?) and it straight died on me after like a year. The current Linksys one I've had on for probably two or three years straight though now without any issues at all.

We use Netgear at work and it's never had a problem-- and all the "techy" folks there seem to always just buy netgear stuff. Either way, probably six of one half a dozen of another. You probably can't go wrong with either. I think they're comparably priced.
