It promotes an elitist culture. Go to average communities, or better yet third world communities I suspect they would just think your an idiot if you told them you refuse to eat all meat and the byproducts from the meatbags you will not consume based on your moral/ethical high ground. Affordable food is not so abundent in most of the world where people can make such pointless choices, and for that I am happy.
