Let's say I put 3 quarters down on the table. Assume one is heads up (representing the "winning" one), the other two are tails (losing ones). But we can't see which is heads or tails (hide them under your hand or something I dunno).
Let's both choose the same quarter, without seeing them (say quarter 1, 2, or 3). Then, you decide ahead of time that you'll keep your choice and I'll decide ahead of time to take the "other" quarter once one of the remaining tails (losing) quarters which we didn't initially choose are thrown out. You can look at the quarters at this point, it's already a foregone conclusion.
Essentially, I'm betting _against_ your 1 quarter (out of 3 total) being heads, and I'll win 2/3 of the time. Try it with your friends or coworkers and win some money. (You might need a third person to be the dealer dude and you might want to try it with dollars to win some loot before they figure it out).
