if you prefer playing late-game heroes, you'll probably get eaten in SD/RD/(maybe AP) cause thats where all the good players play and they always pick early game int gankers because going 18-2 is fun.

If you play em on the other hand, you'll probably be able to farm fast enough that the int heroes won't be able to feed on you as much. Also, most good players don't play em, and if they do play em they're probably not playing int heroes, so there's another reason! Mistakes in em probably won't get you permadisabled, ganked down and killed. Well, they will, but not nearly as much as in non-em games.
