Is that they use edited footage without a problem if it suits their agenda. This movie, for example, they edited out all of the ground patrols statements about what they found when they arrived on scene, and didnt show any of the footage. As batman posted below, the official report stated that they did find an RPG, and some AK's. They also forgot to mention that the "cameramen" werent wearing their vests or anything like that.
The footage gives cause to think that soldier is a trigger happy douche. That I'm okay with. I don't like how they edited the footage and only showed the parts that were negative towards the troops actions, and none of what validated some of what they were doing. I also don't like how they dont explain any of the situation, and make it seem as if having a camera is no big deal. They film their attacks on US troops. If you're a cameraman, you know damn well not to film an apache that's circling you, especially if you're with a group of men carrying weapons.
And in case it seemed odd that they were firing on the van that pulled up, you don't just start picking up bodies because you want to clean up the streets. You clean up bodies because you dont want the IP's/Intel guys to link you or your families to the actions, because then they have more leads to trace you with.
Just my two cents on this and wikileaks.
