Yeah. It's fake. It is me and we were training the new medics. If you can call it training. I always felt our training was woefully subpar compared to what we really dealt with in Iraq. Then again its hard to simulate someone who is missing limbs/filled with shrapnel/various other horribly awful injuries.
Also, in response to the sub posts: Army and Marines on average are indeed very low on the intelligence level. Not a surprise that Navy beat out Airforce in test scores either. Worked with both airmen and sailors in Iraq. I'd work with those Navy boys any day, and not just because they are fun in the shower.
Finally, you can't be mad at Java if he shows a little pride in his branch vs. another. Everyone in the service does it and I feel it is more in jest, though I didn't really read any sort of spite in Java's comments.
