Wireless USB network adapters

October 20, 2011 04:59PM
I need to use a wireless adapter for my desktop, and I'm wondering if any of you have any good suggestions. I'm currently using a linksys/cisco device, and it's decent, but never seem to get lights out connectivity (I usually average about 3 bars out of 5), even though the wireless router is only about 40 feet away.

I've looked on Amazon, but when I personally feel that the advice on this forum tends to be better than the schlock I read on Amazon.

Get a USB extension cable. If the signal is flaky it is probably due to placement.
