I see this crap every day. I have parents ask me all the time "what am I supposed to do?" "They don't listen to me, I can't control them.".

It's all bullcrap. One kid at my school was a terror. He pantsed a teacher twice, got in fights, and would swear at teachers. He spends one summer at his sister's house where there are actual rules, and comes back changed. He seems happier, has a better attitude, better grades, and follows instructions. I'm not endorsing beating kids either, because I don't think he was touched. Kids NEED rules, and consequences that parents follow through on.

Parents that let their kids run wild aren't doing them any favors. They are going to become adults that get in work situations where they don't know how to behave, and get fired. Over and over and over and over and over. We all have to do shit we don't want to do sometimes, but that' s part of becoming a responsible adult.
