Or probably anyone here into a WW2 history who might suggest me a person to address with my questions. There is a problem in short, three years ago i legally obtained a japanese piece of antique, which was surrendered to Major General Douglas Gracey CB, CBE, MC in Saigon, French Indo China 1945. And then owned to his son and brought in for auction. Well, at least the british antiques store owner who sold me that pretends it to be so. Also, the item was actually made in 1684(Jp) and would appear to be a family blade, handed down through the generations, which was requested to be carried during WW2 by an officer (a family member).
I'm looking if that would be technically possible to reach the mentioned japanese family member, or someone of their close relatives, or at least to figure who possibly could be that. As far as you could give me ideas on which direction to look, i would very appreciate any suggestions. But mind that since it's sort of a humanitarian matter and you have a paid service in mind, please do not forget to mention that.
