I had a pair of nice "semi-casual" leather Born shoes, they were very very very comfortable in the footbed, moreso perhaps than any other shoe I've worn. It was a number of years ago, however. Since then I have been wearing Keen shoes/boots almost exclusively--comfortable, roomy toe box (have had ingrown toenails from rubbing), waterproof depending on style, and if they fail somehow they have a warranty.
