Unless we find a way to telnet and type easily on a tablet - text based games are going to take a dive.

The book market however is only going to go up, thanks to the same craze. Just when we thought it would die with paperbacks!

I also predict that we are going to see a major war in the next 10-15 years. Probably with China.

Brazil will begin building a large military and get really scary as they tap more of their natural resources.

Britain is going to decline heavily until it finally gives in and joins Europe - leaving Germany once again on top of Europe and largely in charge.

People are going to eat a lot more fresh salads.

And here's some wild ones:

This forum is still going.

Someone manages to get their teenager addicted to Carrionfields.

They read this.

They realise History is scarily deep in teaching us how not to repeat mistakes. And that they should probably listen to their Father more.

Also, one of the forum members becomes a millionaire. And finally endorses a visual reproduction of Carrionfields - with all the character development and permadeath that a modern era game NEEDS.

I'm kind of tempted to bury a time-capsule with a set of predictions..
