Yep, Cry/Gates sword/flail. It was the best time of this char when Kaer was around and you'd never know how it would end up. I envied your build choice because you could make some serious trouble even if you didn't have the shiniest set.
I'm looking for a build that is least dependant on gear. So that I could just rampage around fighting everyone with regear stuff. Village assassin is probably one, but I've played an assassin before so I'd like to try something new. I'm thinking between evil conjie or a druid. I don't mind gathering wands or preps, just hate gathering and holding shinies.
What a fun ride. First warrior ever. Longest lived char so far. I'll post on the officials when the death thread pops up. Thanks to everyone who were willing to put up a fight. And sorry Sirelas for not fighting you more, monks are just... ugh..
They're just crazy
they tank like gods
they hit like hell, especially after intensivy. But even without it.
they got sanc and heal and protection no need for preps
they evade every fucking skill
they disarm you, break your weapons
they can just spam wrath because almost every skill is automatic
what else?
on the flipside, they don't have a great kill sealing ablitiy.
I
So, are they really frustrating to play? You die a ton to your servitors? You have no chance to grab sleeks solo? In theory they sound like a lot of fun and not too dependant on gear, which would be cool. What's the deal?
Ever had this edge on a flail spec? What does it exactly do, is it like a confuse effect, lag or do they pass out if it fires? And does it work often enough to be noticeable? Would you pick it again? Any other suggestions for a flail spec? Thanks!
I'm not much of a logger, but perhaps I should log more so I wouldn't die so horribly time after time again. So, a script that would make a log like charname.date.time.log or something like that. For Zmud. Thanks.
I'm thinking about going for cry/something. Is maelstorm an absolute necessity or does shield eyes work well enough? Would like to try ward of blades, but I wonder if it is hoing to work optimally on that combo. Gates seems like one natural option especially to deal with druids and paladins, but the thought of gearing for that just gives me a headache. Any thoughts?
Is there any other way to master weapon skills on a low int race other than solo ranking? Like, if I want them mastered before say 25 when I want to start practicing my spec skills? Seems like I get too much exp / kill to get them anywhere near to 100% before lvl 25. I got practice weapons or low avg weapons and ac gear/low damroll. Thanks.
I've never played a warrior before. I'm looking for a build that would be ok in pvp, raids and pve. I'm thinking of duergar dagger/flail. Possibly a battle defender. Maybe forsaken thoughts / whispers or forsaken thoughts / cry. Thoughts? Thanks.
The reason why the numbers are low is because most of us who started in the 90's are now grown-ups with real life responsibilities, families, jobs etc. Most of us don't have the hundreds of hours and possibility to play long sessions to make the game fun instead of grinding ranks, skills, getting caballed, getting empowered etc. I would play, if it was fun to play short logins a couple
My goal was to fight as much as possible and I think I managed to do that to some extent. Died a ton of mobdeaths, died a ton in pk. Killed a few on the way. All my opponents were really classy, thanks for that. My rp was poor, sorry for that, I just suck at rp. Loved the class, but being a Scarab muter means you're having a really hard time ranking up. I would've kept going, but CF jus
So I type who pk and I see
(PK) Gaspare the lich
(PK) Tsalantha the ap
(PK) Gulrom the paladin
Is there a way to make a trigger that would end up my status bar looking like this :
CURRENT TARGET = Tiamat Gaspare Tsalantha Gulrom
Thanks for any help!
I probably shoul've posted this on the script board, but I guess nobody reads it anymore.
How do you solo rank a muter from 30 to hero? Is it a going to be a struggle or am I just doing it wrong, I can kill 1-2 ~200 exp mobs before I need a rest and the idea of heroing like this just gives me the shivers. Any help appreciated.
By typing "tar enemy" my target would be set to enemy
And then by typing "mm" I would get murder target
I looked into the aliases and targetting tutorial video on f-mud website, but doesn't seem to work on cf for some reason. Any help would be great.
I like to think that the game starts at lvl 1, not 51. But the thing that nags me is that I lose con, when I die in PvP. And this makes me super careful with when and whom I choose to fight. Because I'm going to suck even more at hero if I don't use those extra trains for hp. Would it be totally stupid to change it so, that you start losing con (in PvP, mob deaths would make me lose con
