Swords over daggers for vs. groups. Daggers can be nice, but swords + high dex means that barring maledicts, you win in straight melee and don't have to worry as much about getting lagged. If you're playing a high dex low str race, you'd do well to gear for str/dex anyhow to maintain your advantage.
I'd have to say arial for race. Never having to deal with prepping fly i
I mean, I don't think there can be much of a compromise.
The mods could, in all seriousness, delete even the initial log in this thread if they wanted as a basis of character assassination. I mean, consider that people who grief out of range characters for fun are going to be killed for OOC reasons if the act is witnessed. Granted, it'd be just about as much OOC as it would be to n
..this sounds more like the jingoistic propaganda found in 'Americanism vs Communism' classes from the 60s-70s onward than the ramblings of a small child.
I think what some don't immediately grasp about people like odrirg (assuming he's not 100% trolling all the time), is that this kind of stuff is doctrine to them. It's not a case of ignorance as much as it closed-mi
It happens in all areas. Some of us play a lot more secluded than others in this regard, but there is usually quite a bit of OOC knowledge behind every good character. Whether it be in a solid ranking group/partner that nearly qualifies as a perma, or a couple tidbits about what and where some nice items are currently, it's no secret that this stuff happens in every little clique and subse
It always seemed to me to be easy to get caught up with 4-5 goodies (even as a neutral sometimes) and never have to worry about ranking too much. Also, I remember my drow dagger I played right before empire's reappearance being about what I felt like playing evil most times (you know, when dagger spec was looked down upon). Most goodies easily had their way with me, I took a ton of deaths
STSF seems to just 'do' a lot more than most of the legacies out there, but is it's usefulness limited to elves and drow?
No, I'm not asking about taking it with giants, or even half races. I'm curious as to how useful it is with arials, gnomes, and wood-elves. Do gnomes actually get a boost because of the huge wis (I remember rumors about this in earlier times), o
A couple shifters out there right now seem to have this one.
Second tier form, seems to have one attack a round that does MANGLE to **DEMO. Also some sort of lagging move, I believe (could be wrong on this, but seemed to have the same type of 'pinching' lag attack that a lot of bug types have). Very deathful.
Have a utility form that can steal. Now that seems like it would be a hilarious combo to play.
Utility/Air is likely failure the rest of the time, however.
