Their powers are so dependent on your other final so they need some commentary. I think utility/offense is ABSOLUTELY the best major/minor. Air sucks ass with the low playerbase, you give up SO much for only having a few people to hunt as opposed to previously maybe having 10-12 enemies on the ground for so many opportunity kills. They’ve been my main class in the 17 or so years I’ve been playing. I’ve hero’d around 35 of them.
18 have been utility majors which in my opinion is hands down the only major focus any shifter should take. The enlivens are just incredible, mainly stride of the cheetah.
And for all future howler monkeys out there, I would say it’s tied for first place with cheetah now for best utility for
Non stop good RP, gearing cabalmates, countless personal quests without praying about it, being competent in pk, giving gold to the poor, etc..
If I have to do that for 100 actual cabaled hours while there’s only an average of 14 people online and I still don’t have Acolyte powers other than favor of the sun then Fort just isn’t my cabal.
Had some great times, tried to help as many people as possible and give my first go at a goodie. Spending 100 hours as a scribe while only doing non stop good just feels like way too much though and in the end bothered me too much to deal with.
