I lost my specs when I got turned to neutral. It effectively killed me. I couldn't fight. I probably lost 4 con a night despite leader con, and then when I passed the leadership on they didn't give me the con adjustment to go with it. If they had I prolly woulda survived to the end of my story. But as an elf with all the fucking iron and shapeshifters and the new op conjurers, I couldn&
But last time I tried to play I hit where, the villager was just entering darsylon. Before my second where went off I was being bashed to death and despite having a 100% teleport I couldn't get away. So since my internet is shit there's a zero chance I will return as well.
I was married to Iunna... I'm not sure I want to see her again. She might stab me like she did last time... twice.
Still doesn't change the fact I spent a great deal of effort in this game to be defeated by the admin. That's unforgivable.
She made two corpses of Quesnel at the Inn before Odin, once cause I cheated on her. Twice caused I did it again and bragged about it. Odin
Yeah. Hence why I ended up being neutral.
I wish I could play again, but the Imms put me in the box of "you aren't special enough" and they chose their favorites. Cause of that I'll never play again. But it was fun and 100% of it was cause of the players. You guys rock.
Something people may not know is that Trewyn (as Commander) grouped and followed an Entropist mage shapeshifter around for quite a bit and Thror did not like this and called him out on it but Trewyn said I can't fight this war thinking every mage has to die. If one cannot be saved then I've done nothing with my time. That happened just before the whole nexus and Grimiore in the fortress
Trewyn was actually planned to be a Maran. The fact Shokai took his goodness from him was just beauty. It was a dark elf that convinced Trewyn that the path to light was the abandonment of reliance on magic. It was Shokai who stabbed him in the chest and stole his soul. After that Trewyn's body died within a few "weeks". The irony of that never escaped me.
Yeah to be honest I was kinda surprised you ended up as my lieutenant cause of our time differences. But it became very clear within a few interactions that you deserved it and so I never questioned it (it was Thror that did that if it matters now, we had a brief conversation where I told him I couldn't be responsible for what I couldn't see and I wanted him to do that type of stuff cau

I've been having dreams lately where I see the text scrolling by and big red damages. Does that happen to anyone else?
Been remembering Trewyn's story also and how effing crazy it all was being thrown into the firepan like that with just two or three for backup and rebuilding the village from effective dust. Mostly cause of the kick ass support I had to help like Hyshrawr and Gungnir
But I wasn't in the in crowd. I'm thinking Donovan inducted my first master and he was a lich so anything before that I'm not on the up and up about.
Also now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure my highest level master was only like level 47 or so. So if scry was a hero level spell I wouldn't have had it.
That's the modified version that came about during the nature/magic thing. The old version just added your mana amount to your hp. So if you had 1k mana and 1k hp, after transform you'd have 1k mana and 2k hp. If you were a ranger with a questionable name your bears would inherit the new hp total you have. Obviously it was op as shit because you could raise your mana with items, cast tr
The ones with two negate environmental effects like hot/cold rooms and the occasional one where water knocks you around. Like the room effect doesn't even proc while the spells are in effect. The ranger skill protection from elements works the same way.
Earth and Air damage are magic or bashing type which isn't actually negated by any of these spells unless things have changed since
I remember when the Forest of Nowhere was added and it being that place you went to test your stuff against constant 3 man pk ganks. I kinda remember rooms that didn't show up on the where so as a pk hunter you had to physical check those rooms to make sure people weren't hiding in them.
I guess I started right after dual wield was added. I don't remember the Master cabal being
If I remember right there is a door behind the shrine at the island and the vault door is the next one behind it (or beneath it, I think it's down). I got ported in there once for reasons. I think I bribed Twist with a doughnut or something. There's like a giant tube that goes down beneath the island. But I haven't played forever so I dunno.
But as far as I know the key itself i
Cause that one used to be on a mob near by. The fat merchant also used to have 10k gold back before copper existed. If you are talking about the one south of Aturi, they changed that one since I knew where the key was. It used to be on a mob you had to have pass door to get to.
I'd go with the note/email though. More reliable and you can set up a time to meet up with them. Most of the imms in my ... almost 20 years of experience (gah) ... have been more than happy to respond to kindly written emails even about bad topics or complaints.
But my gear knowledge is so pathetic now I'm not sure I could do it. Also my internet sucks so bad the one attempt I made couldn't defend himself because I'd lag out for so long I'd be bashed down dead before I could teleport away.
But I'd totally be down for that strategy. Then we can go into hell behind them and try to catch them off guard.
Most people ran away or were hard to find during a full cycle and in curative mode with herbal regen, you get surprising survivability that makes the nature curse and thornheart surprisingly powerful because you can last a lot longer while they charge up.
Waxing I was fond of because I'd get a lot of plant boosting herbs and thornheart is MUCH more powerful in a waxing moon than any other
It takes special druid knowledge to get it to do that much damage + a little luck. That particular mob (the furnace beetle) is defensive and has a lot of HP and AC. During a ... shit it's been forever ... umm (full - offense, waxing - monsters and plants, new - curative, waning - defensive) a waxing moon the mobs called tend to be higher level and if you have the herbs for them they tend to
I was sorely disappointed in what I couldn't use and shocked quite often at what it wouldn't allow. Being able to quaff/eat a return pill in combat was a huge utility as a nexun against village entwine masters. It made it VERY difficult to kill me. Being able to eat heal pills in combat isn't as cool as you think cause the eat lag and who knows about the wisdom warrior slap you in
The only time I had any success was with a Nexus Human Fist/Whip Spec and I typically used it when I was with a shapeshifter tank to troll villagers at the village/island.
Thinking about taking Oblivious. Who wants to be my help? I don't have a lot of time to play so I'll need someone to show me a bunch of warrior crap or I have to play a transmuter/mage-nonshifter. Does anyone have a basic melee eq list for that dashboard they can pass me?
I'm not sure why Iunna deleted. I read that death thread and I didn't see anything in it particularly inflamatory. So either they purged the thread or there's more to the story than you can discern in just a few quick moments.
I honestly quit playing really after my last fortie. It's always been disheartening to see lesser characters get rewarded while I sat in the shadows
Waaaaaay back in the day the Arial City was above Midgaard(Galadon) and you got there by climbing a big ass chain. There used to be an area above Galadon where there were some birds and a stupid coconut.
