Also watching videos on Star Citizen, Rust, Underworld Ascendant, messing around with Divinity Original Sin 2 builds since it launches in four days and is gonna be awesome. Oh... and school of course. And if I have any time left over I continue to work on my side coding project, though I admittedly don't have much time for it right now. Masters Degree is a bitch.
PK range is based on level +/- 8 AND EXP range. I don't know exactly how the range is set up, BUT it does work somewhat like the level. This is why an EXP penalty based on class/race makes your character has higher level pks than a human warrior who has no penalty. But at the same time the bottom side of that range is also higher in that a storm paladin didn't have low EXP class/race co
What do you mean you won't get a fair PK fight because of xp loss? The only possible thing xp loss can do for you in PK is make you fall OUT of higher level ranges possibly, which means you are going to get possibly weaker opponents until you regain that exp. It's not like it adds exp to your total needed. Exp loss is simply a reduction of your current exp. The amount your current exp n
It could have come from somewhere else since I can't remember making it, but as I said I couldn't find anything about it anywhere. It's been sitting on my website a long time though and looks like something I may have coded a long time ago when messing around with javascript. Either way, here it is. Maybe it is useful, maybe not. Just thought I would throw it up here in case it is.
I assume I created this tiny little javascript to tell how much exp total and to next level per level and penalty a long time ago and forgot about it, since I can't actually remember making it. I was literally just messing around with my websites since my wife wanted a new domain and saw the file there. Anyone actually find it useful? You can just download the file and use it if you want.
Back when we had 80-140 players on at all times there was a LOT more gear circulation. When you died and got full looted you could expect to find new gear in your cabal or come across your cabal killing two-three people and getting new gear from them. It went more quickly due to this but also came much quicker. There was also MORE of each limited gear available to be passed around and some decent
The meaning remains the same. I had not originally thought you were a troll, but from now on I won't be answering you unless it's clearly not an attempt at trolling.
Guns are banned from schools but people bring them. You can be banned from Walmart and still walk in easily enough. You can be banned from a forum and just make a new handle. Technicalities have nothing to do with it and you are just mincing words at this point. In any case, I thought perhaps you didn't realize this which is why I answered but apparently that was not the case.
I feel CF has way too narrow minded view on what makes a Goodie vs Evil these days. I've always envisioned a Paladin being fuck evil, I'll kill the whole town if you harbor them and if you aren't glowing in goodness you are tainted so fuck you too! Arrogant like a zealot priest, among other things. They are good in that they believe they what they are doing is righteous and destroy
And they are trying to get rid of all references to stock mud / fantasy literature that was custom made for CF. Could be wrong on which book though, been a long ass time since I read it and never did finish the last book! I should probably do that...
And yet it's still going. Might have less players, but it is still mostly playable and has fun bits. It would be more fun if people posted in the forums less and played in the game more though.
Growing up of older players (negative population as they get jobs, families, etc.)
Short attention span of younger generation (little positive to population)
Low player count (the biggest factor of many likely not playing lately)
Anything else you put isn't accurate since CF has been "dying" since before Valg even immed. I recall posts about it even in Glimmos.
Always sad to see someone you have known, even in a game like this, pass away. Definitely makes me think of my own short life and what things I should be doing instead of procrastinating.
