Riddle halves the time and duration and has other effects.
For instance, I am pretty sure it is harder to break the wrist.
For example, at hero Katsan took off only -3 str and -3 dex for 4 hours and kot was the same.
So instead of -12 str, -12 dex for 8 hours, it is -6 str, -6 dex for 4 hours. Not to mention the other advantages and the advantage during the fight..

I realize it is dependant on other factors, but will be a giant and going to fight a lot. Will wield something heavy: polearm, axe, mace.
Paniced a bunch in this fight. A few things.
1. I actually did not know the giant was no recall, which is embarrasing since I have played a long time
2. That was our first fight so I did not know he was flails and I assumed I could just flee.
3. I did not know entwine works differently when you don't attack directly.
4. I did come to retrieve.
So when you are use to leaving, fleei
A few points on the wand system:
1. I treat the sleek system like a fun quest.
2. I never use sleeks as my sole source of abs.
3. I have found non-sleeks to be easy easy to find. Once you find one it is almost always there with the low player base.
Overall I think this is a good new system.
I enjoyed this chracter as much as some of my others (Gilut, Deevak, Maligor, Bevrolmx, Polmier, Ezrail, etc.).
While this was not my best roleplay effort as I messed up with the sphere, I tried to carry it forward and even visited daevryn shrine a few times..
It was really a pk and cause chaos character.
I will post some imm and character thoughts when it comes up on the official page.
If you are the type of player that got their sleek black and always went to that sleek black for barrier then you will hate the new system.
If you are like me and know lots of non-sleek barrier sources then the new system is fine.
I have played dozens of mages that never knew their sleek black source but always had barrier.
I find the new sleek system fun. It is like have a small puzzl
Pain- Great path. I initially was seeking anger, but got pain. Ended up loving it.
1. Spasm - strength loss I believe. Could be useful. I under utilized it.
2. Dolorous Coil - Did not use as I always had a no remove weapon. Can only apply to the weapon from your inventory
3. Anguish - Fairly good mental damage
4. Embrace Pain - Caused you to do more damage. Useful.
5. Reject Pain
I do not think a couple days is long enough to complain.
I have waited 2 months one time to get into battle.
I would say 2-3 weeks (10-20 hrs) is normal for me.
I agree that I do not have all the knowledge.
My point is neither does any of the playerbase.
Questions like:
what is his role?
how well is he playing his role?
how well is he doing in pk?
do the imms feel he is above and beyond?
My 19 years of playing this game tells me that the imms do a great job with this game. They take the game seriously and reward players that they feel d
To get a reward is such a cool thing for the player. Almost all players that have gotten rewards have earned them.
For example, I hate fighting that Bulette, but Nop is a great player with great roleplay, dedicated and he deserves that reward.
Same for the captain and same for the Dread Lord.
I disagree with this. I think the point is to figure out how to beat the reward given player. It means getting the preps required to do it. To enlisted that second/third/fourther person to take him down. To figure out the right situations in which you will win.
CF is never going to be chess.
CF is roleplaying
CF is ganking if the roleplaying allows it

I like the system as it is. Most of the people that have gotten the rewards have put in the time, have roleplayed constantly, and are awesome in pk.
I have no issues with rewards and have played this game for almost 20 years.
