Kuhara is the name of the sunken city we know as Ruins of the Deep. So I'm assuming the Kuharin plains is either an area in the past, west of Galadon Past, or some area near the Sea of Despair in the present.by Isildur - Main Board

Don't forget to roll your alt neutral assassin so you can assassinate rival paladins and sac all their gear, then go get it on your paladin.by Isildur - Char Board
Maybe. Maybe not. Some things are limited and better than any non-limited alternative, but sufficiently "not good" that they're almost always in even when people know about them. As an example, I think the drow sub-commander's breastplate is limited. The iron broadsword definitely is. When was the last time you say that illusionary?by Isildur - Main Board
I said "sharing outside game" in my explanation to Rhyaldrin for why I deleted his Dio's post. Per the staff it's verboten everywhere, but obviously my authority only extends to public posts on Dio's.by Isildur - Main Board
Look, I realize people are going to share whatever they want to share privately. I'm not stupid. In terms of public posts, though, the Dio's policy is to largely abide by the staff's wishes. That means no wand locations, AI locations, quests, tattoo powers, and in general stuff about areas listed under "area explore". I'll also add that I've discussed someby Isildur - Main Board
> Verboten by whom? CF staff, last I checked. Gabe, as the owner of these forums, has decided to humor the staff and enforce certain rules here w.r.t. what can be publicly discussed. Gabe also chose to make me a VIP. Hence my authority to hide/delete posts. > What fucking right do any of you have to tell me what to do OUTSIDE your fucking little world? Been a while since I had an outlander, but if I recall you can get protection vs ethos. Maybe protection vs. metals and maybe stoneskin? Feel like stoneskin was a thing.by Isildur - Main Board
I was talking about stuff that won't always be immediately available, because it's limited, but that is "fairly common". Meaning over the course of a week you're probably going to find it on the mob. Generally speaking I'd say these are the three categories: 1. Non-limited stuff. 2. Limited stuff that's 99% of the time available. 3. Limited stuff thatby Isildur - Main Board
You basically spend about 25% of your time gathering things for a certain quest or doing stuff in Veran. Assuming not a rager. Maybe I could do an outlander warrior and get by with AI preps. Hmm.by Isildur - Main Board
I looked on officials. There are really two classes of item we're talking about here: items that are truly non-limited, and then limited ones that are common enough that most heros have a reasonable shot at finding them over the course of a week of crashes/reboots. In terms of non-limited, using the item search on officials: Mages: G: single malachite (2 con, 1 dam, 20 hp, 20 mana) N/by Isildur - Main Board
One thing: there are very few true 50/50 battles. Most "even" matchups are more like 5/5/90, where "90" is the odds of nobody dying. I'll take those fights, because maybe the guy on the other side actually sucks and in truth it's more like a 5/25/70 fight, where I have non-negligible odds of killing him. Whether I'd do a true 50/50 would depend on how goodby Isildur - Main Board
Three ways to get kills that i see. 1. Go mix it up in 50/50 fights, hope the RNG swings your way, be ready to get out if it doesn't, and hope the guy overcommits. 2. Try to engineer 90/10 fights where you're up against someone you enjoy a huge advantage over due to class/race/power stuff. 3. Gang people down. 4. Pick off wounded people, where it doesn't matter how wellby Isildur - Main Board

I agree goal should be to create a good domestic situation. I think importing +2 sigma individuals to work, live and raise their kids in the U.S. is conducive to that.by Isildur - OT Board
Depends on which money you're talking about, but I mostly disagree. Tourists spend money all over the place. They eat at restaurants, buy stuff, stay in hotels, rent cars, buy gas, etc. U.S. companies that sell their products abroad employ all sorts of people. Janitors, receptionists, etc. Like I said, trade isn't the biggest risk. Unless we do something so horrible that embargoby Isildur - OT Board
Depends on which item. I think global perception could definitely dampen tourism. It could make other countries less likely to cooperate with us in diplomatic efforts. Trade wise, yes, people will generally trade with us regardless of how shitty things get. That is, unless it gets so bad there's a global embargo, North Korea style. That's obviously not very likely. 1. The world buys our stuff. 2. We buy the world's stuff. 3. The World spends a ton of money in the U.S. 4. The U.S. often needs the cooperation of other nations to achieve its foreign policy objectives. 5. The U.S. benefits from reverse brain drain, i.e. the best and brightest from other countries often immigrate to the U.S. to live and work. Ergo we care what people think, to the exby Isildur - OT Board
If they're using built-in random functions then you'd need to do your analysis on the machine where CF runs, right? Maybe yours is good, but the one on the CF server is crap. (I really, really don't think that's the case, just saying.)by Isildur - Main Board
