Are Lich/Mummy's still only for the uber l337? I've always been fascinated by them but I know I will never have one so is there any interesting facts that can be discussed? Like what's the difference for starters? I always thought mummy's were a watered-down version of lichs. Are there any advantages to being a mummy? Why are necro's capped at 47? Do you have to que

You gracefully thread magic from different paths together into a weave of the elements.
Spell: 'weave of elements' modifies armor class by -30 for 11 hours.
Is this just an improved "armor" spell for vokers? Does it do anything else other than improve ac?

Before I stopped playing I used Zmud exclusively. Had a lot of time invested in scripts, macros, etc. I considered Cmud because it's supposed to be superior. I've also seen a lot of you rave about Tintin. My question is this: can anyone make a recommendation as to which is better? Assuming anyone has experience with all three.

Hey Guys
I was just reading through some of the forums. I like to check back every few weeks/months just to see that CF is still kicking. There's a post a few pages back about CF dying and I wanted to ask a few questions. I started playing CF in '92 (or was it '94? it wasn't too long after CF came online) and I've seen this same post several times over the years.
Can anyone shed any light on this? I was looking into it when I stopped playing but I didn't get very far. It's something that I've always wondered about. Since I won't be playing anytime soon I wondered if someone could enlighten me.
Thanks
Has this ever bothered anyone else:
A snare tells you 'Someone has stumbled into your snares.'
I mean we have this for deadfall traps:
You hear a dull thud. It did not sound far from here.
I'm thinking "Snare Detection" (or some such) would be a good skill to implement. Every time someone trips your snare you have a chance to improve the skill. Like deadf
Everytime I see a post about low numbers there's always a few that chime in saying cabals suck because xyz, empowerment sucks because qrs, imms suck because ghi, so on and so forth. I'm just wondering why the Imm staff doesn't take these considerations into account. I'm not too keen on the ins and outs of running a mud so I wasn't sure if these suggestions were just not
It would seem that, cumulatively, the CF Community seems to have all the answers to the problems revolving around the low numbers on CF. My question is why, then, doesn't the CF staff take these suggestions and "fix" what everyone is complaining about. Am I missing something? Is there some technical obstacle that prevents these changes from taking place? Or are the answers prov
