I think it checks current con first, then svs, and I believe resist disease also helps avoid con loss with rot. I imagine disease vuln probably makes it worse.

The further the hunt moves to chase you, the slower it tracks. The first 4 rooms might have it hot on your ass or even catching you every room, but if you can get some distance in it slows down considerably.
Best advice in this log is to avoid that fight completely. You were at half health in their terrain with the hunt on you. Even if you killed the hunt the druid still had your number. IIRC
