If a defender is there, group spells will spread from the defender to all of the inners, of course. That's part works reliably. Any other situation though just seems random. Sometimes they're grouped for an entire raid. And sometimes they split up after the first one dies, or they're never grouped at all in the first place. Or they're grouped until a defender comes in and flee
I can connect to the game. It just disconnects every so often. When it started, maybe two weeks ago, it was really occasional, but now it's almost constant. As in, I just logged on, and got disconnected after barely a minute. When I reconnected, I got disconnected again before the little lag for reconnecting wore off, and had to struggle with it two more times before I could actually get a q
I only use this computer for school, internet, and this game. Nothing about it has changed at all in more than a year. Except that for the past couple weeks the game, and only the game, randomly disconnects.
Thank you though, for suggesting something at least.

A saved mental jolt looks like, "looks disoriented, but only momentarily". An unsaved one looks like, "staggers backward, looking completly baffled". I know it's confusing, but that's not related to the edge at all. It just means they got that tiny little neuro lag. The baffle affect only has a chance of happening on an unsaved hit though.
Mental jolt maledicts intelligence and can mess up scan, like cranial or the bard song that makes you cry. With the bewildering jolt edge, it can also baffle, which scrambles the direction of movement commands, including flee.
