If I play to around 200 hours or so.
Never tried to go pure PK and age-die a char. Doubt I could ever put up 300+ PK's. I think I had close to 100 with a scion air shifter. Must have been close to that.
Was not really disagreeing with you. I just meant, I am too much of a pushover to have done that. (Even though its the right thing to do).
I full looted a guy once that was pissing me off, and I did not sleep well that night. Lame eh?
Playing an evil bastard is one thing. But the guy did the noble thing when he gave it back. (OOC)
It just creates bitter playerbase who are less inclined to do nice gestures.
Though you were keeping to your role and all that, so not much to complain about.
Out of character though I would hope you felt a little guilt.
but even with 1000+ hp and never letting my mana dip below 400, I would occasionally get a big vamp. I died a few times over 3-4 hero goodie conjurers perfecting that spell. Never when I had an transpledant archon.
for evil conjurers. An archon with a huge fire elemental is the best way to master this spell.
I got it up decently with an evil conjurer but its almost an instant death if you get a vamp. I went through a ton of gold trying to survive one and once malaise hit, was done.
Well worth mastering and taking the two edges.
They get owned at hero range.
I systematically dismantled orcs/chieftains with hoards, (albeit prepped), but litterally walked through orc village annilhilating them.
You are attacking a cabal. You see a few Imperials in range. You continue to strike the cabal.
What are they supposed to do? Challenge you to a duel at the arena?
Though I have argued with bone head berserkers who justified jumping into one on one fights because I was using servitors.
A conjurer + elemental + devil
does not equal 3 berserkers.
Storm giant paladin, storm giant ranger-mariner would be best for exploration. There is not a whole lot to actually explore underwater. Underdark sea is fun, and coral palace can be good for your first experience (equipment too for goodies)
Water shifters, unless you get a seasnake or one of the lesser regenerative forms are not that good for actually killing mobs. SOme of the more defensive
As should any evil cabal. Who wants a group devoted to limited your power around? Evil players get the lee-way not to forget about the times Nexuns helped Fortlanders, or attacked one of the council when balance swayed.
Once an enemy....always an enemy, and they should not be trusted. Take the oath? No, ok, welcome to the ranks of the slaves.
Nexus sucks.
I can powerrank a mage character to hero, then amass an amazing set with little to no risk of getting PKed and looted.
It is much harder to be a rank 36 mage with a range of 40ish villagers to defend or retrieve agaisnt, or protecting items from non-heros that are trying to retrieve.
Rank 35 should be the limit for inductions by mortals. Over 35 should have IMM involvement. I totally agre
You could make the transform skill start at a rate rate/percentage, and with Imm bonuses, longevity, etc, it would increase. Older more skilled mages would therefore be more dangerous. It would also encourage more PKing to gather high power items.
I would suggest they adjust detect magic-so that if a mage looks at items, he can immediately tell the ones that radiate 'transformability&

I agree here.
Our times meshed alot. Synoria and I would be about alot during your play times. Rot would basically just waste alot of my time. Flying to a safe spot, putting on my rot suit and surfing the web a bit while it wears off.
Its more of an annoying supplication than an effective one. Or it can be deadly agaisnt long lasted chars that have low con. Sometimes I would perfered t
A/B/S is good to have in game. Needed for fighting villagers (skilled), or foes that prep. (raid situations too)
System of searching is kind of lame. I do it, because I feel I need to do it. To me its like an invoker having to spam spells. Doesnt really add anything to the game other than hours of pointless work. But I do it because I want to get tougher.
I used to think perfecting al
ANyone with moderate game knowledge should be able to knock off and find at least two of their 'set' by checking magey type or common areas. Use some limited ones until you get detect artifact and go do some exploration again.
Its not too damn hard when the spell triggers when you walk into a room. It lasts 12 hours or so, (if memory serves me right), and you can run around an ar
