I think the game needs an occasional boss. You know, the monster at the end of an RPG that you have to band together to defeat. I think it's good fun and mummies/lichs shouldn't be the only way we do this. Especially if that monster takes risks, as Jerry noted.
I think we agree that saccing weak AP weapons is, well, weak. Saccing a strong AP weapon, yes, restores "balance"
I think if an unholy is big enough, the saccer should automatically eat a death (not just take damage). You should be willing to die for something like that (and RP-wise, it would be a true sacrifice). It's only fair given the immense time (and enjoyment of the game) you as the saccer just took from the AP, among other things.
