I can only agree. The answers that Hruptek gave were correct according to what I have known as the established "rules of magic in the tower" and those have been in place for a verrrrry long time. This crap about each of the schools of magic harnessing different powers to see invis is just that... Crap.

*RANT ON*
Next you will try to tell me that the schools of magic are completely independant of one another. *BZZZT* Wrong. If the different schools didn't touch on one another, they wouldn't work (this is assuming, of course, that magic were real). For instance, if a necromancer draws his power from the negative plane, how is he not encroaching on the conjurer's territory? You say the necromancer doesn't touch the negative plane? Uh, so where does this negative energy come from? Oh, the realms of the dead, you say. Oops, that's back in the conjurer's court. Seems we have a moebius loop here.

Look, you have spells that *do* touch schools other than their own in order to function correctly. You can't say there isn't. Invokers have to draw their elemental energy from somewhere, and you aren't going to tell me they can create a fireball without touching the plane of fire. Oh, look, there's that cross over thing again. And invokers can use the plane of earth to make things bounce off their person. Oh, my, sounds like you're touching on transmutation and conjuration there...
*RANT OFF*

Look, you may have your own views about magic but instead of forcing them on others, perhaps you should think about discussing them. You seem to be running the Tower like you have an Emperor fetish. Maybe that's what is needed right now but I will guarantee you that you are not making any friends right now.
