Just because you're an invoker doesn't mean you have to perfect ALL the spells. Pick two paths - like fire and ice - and stick with them. From a "realist" perspective, it should be more common to have a bunch of minor invokers running around, specialized in one or two elemental paths. Those who have EVERYTHING mastered should be less common.

Just something to think on.
