I hate the mentality that any complaint is a whine.

And for every person that is vocal about their distaste for the state of things there is a greater number that aren't.

I've never made an "I'm leaving" thread. But I just about don't play anymore, I try sometimes, but the spark is pretty much gone. And it's often not that far away from the reasons given for the people who are more vocal about it, if a little less dramatic. I can see why you would feel that way. I can see why you'd want to be convinced you're wrong and post about it too.

Simple reasons I don't play as much: I don't like most of the players left. QHCF is boring now. I cannot think of a single imm left that I am fond of (except Sacer but he is pretty hands off aside from adding some neat stuff). I am especially not fond of imms stepping in and crapping all over my player to player immersion, however infrequently. Seeing what's happened to Empire now is bordering the nail in the coffin, and that bit with Drond, ugh, it's just mostly dead to me.

Things change, people change, culture changes, the overall resultant direction just happens not to mesh with me. Which is a little depressing considering the 1000's of hours I spent on this game.

And yeah, Baer and her new crop of shit-butt baby-imms leaving would be much more in my direction, but I know it's not going to happen.
