Warded familiar edge point change?

It seems things have changed. I have a lot of edge points as a conjurer of rank 26, with many edge options, but none that offer warded or warrior familiar. If I remember things correctly (the last time I played a conjurer) I was able to discuss a warded familiar fairly early.

Need to get Familiar past 90 and you can take it at 17 IIRC. n/t

Definitely not past 90. And the familiar spell is at 17
