Permalag via bash destroys any bard and you cannot escape it as an elf (if you reduce he can reduce and still be one size larger than you, if you enlarge, he is your size or he can enlarge and be one size bigger than you) - that combined with cheap shot and savage feeding potentially lagging = dead bard.
