There is no set time for anything. The problem is that in this day and age no one wants to wait for anything. As in society, people want things right now and don't want to wait for it or earn it. There are quite a few things that need to line up in this game. The one who punished you has to see you change and that's hard as your times have to mesh. Is the amount of time an imperial priest sits as an anathema for breaking imperial law the same as a goodie villager being kicked out of the village for killing a goodie Mage and a warrior to get to the Mage?
