I'm a mage player, typically. Heroed many a conjurer, invoker, shifter, and one lord adept of necromancy. Back then you had like 80-150+ players though. I find I can't play them anymore because there simply isn't anyone to group with ever. I manage maybe 2 levels worth of grouping a week if I am lucky. Before, the way I always handled deaths is that I felt that at least I was making progress. Now I make no progress and get killed and just go bleh, I don't wanna play... But I want to play! How do you mages play now days? Do you have buddies? Get lucky? Or just have insanely weird sado-masochist tolerances? I'm starting to think tankable characters might be the only way for me to play anymore which makes me sad.
