So I just tried my hand at a savage ranger. While experimenting, the only difference I saw was while wielding a metal weapon and ambushing. During normal melee, I found that wearing decent metal armor was more beneficial that removing it all which is contrary to what people have said before. When does this trade off matter? Does it ever matter? I tried searching for the older posts regarding this but either the search is broke or I'm retarded. Both equally possible I suppose. Can someone provide some clarification on the nuance inherent with the savage ranger build and metal armor?
