1) Gear purchasing: I freely admit I am overly addicted to the Bramblefield merchants at low level, especially with non-fighting classes. The snakeskin belt is so light compared to the bronze belt from the trolls... I suppose when I try it again I'll have to get over that.
2) Healings. I can fairly easily find things to barter for low price heals (refreshes and the like), but any real healing costs more than I have been able to effectively barter for and maintain on my person in any quantity.
3) Preps. Everything I used to know is gone/moved/renamed, so I've been purchasing at various merchants until this attempt. The things I can find laying about in game generally have obscure effects that I don't particularly care about (puiessence and the like). I've dealt with that one barter-only merchant south of Galadon, but there's only so many random objects I can throw at her...
To a large degree I'm just whining/venting, but I am really kinda stunned at how much I have been using coin and at how well some folks do without it.
