Effective and fun hand spec first races? I really want to play a warrior past 30 for once and hands look interesting. Need some tips though.

I remember reading somewhere that Pummel works off of strength, dexterity, hand to hand skill, and of course itself.

Felar look cool on paper but with 17 strength I am concerned about pitiful pummels.
Duergar seem fine but that 16 int and wrath weakness seems daunting.
Svirf seem fine as well but man, blunt weakness woes.
Humans look like the best choice. Or maybe a half-elf/drow.

Any race can be played to some degree of success.

Felar. You can take out groups of 3 with pummel at low levels. n/t

I bet with brawling and claw extensions, felar lowbie is pretty fun (n/t)

How do you even get claw extensions as a lowbie with other high level Felar running around?

We call the effect "claw extensions trickle-down"

You basically have to be given them or kill another felar lowbie who was given them (n/t)
