When I set up my account with them 8 years ago I was using TWC and I registered with my then email address: ekirhal@nc.rr.com. I stopped using TWC about 5 years ago and I've had a gmail account ever since. Their automated "forgot your password?" requires your email that you registered with but since I don't use that (or even have access to it anymore) I sent them an email. First, Umiron responded. After a few back and forth emails about how they use the registered email (which I identified) to verify the identity of said user he suggested that if I could prove I owned my Dio's account he'd reset my password on the officials for me. Perfect. I asked for his Dio's handle so I could send him a PM. At this point he went dark. Never heard from him again. I responded once more asking if he'd forgotten about me and waited a month. Nothing. I sent another email to the imms stating my deal with Umiron. The next to respond was Destuvius who simply stated, "why don't you just create a new handle." I replied stating that I shouldn't have to do that. It's my handle and I just wanted my password reset. Four days pass with no response so I send it back asking, "So am I to assume from your silence that you guys are just simply not going to reset my password?". Baer responds stating, "Yes, this is a correct assumption." I responded back reiterating my original deal with Umiron which I was happy to comply with. Give me a handle and I'll send you a PM. That proves I own my Dio's handle, you know I am who I say I am, account verified, you can reset my password, problem solved. Baer responds, "I doubt any of the imms post on Dios enough to have PM access, or that they would be excited about sharing their Dios account info with anyone." After 13 exchanges just to get a password reset I'd had enough... this was my last response to them:

"This is absurd. I just want my password reset. As you can see from the original thread I haven't had TWC service in well over 5 years so sending you an email from that account is impossible. The fact that I'm even WILLING to send a PM from my account on Dio's (which was Umiron's original agreement) should be proof enough that I am, in fact, Ekirhal. It's also not surprising that none of you would not be willing to share your Dio's account name lest you give away the fact that you do actually snoop there.

Just forget the whole thing. If you really don't want me on your site that badly then I suppose there's nothing for me there anyway.

Food for thought, guys... do you ever wonder why the only feedback you get on Dio's is all negative?"

Sacer responded saying that this was standard operating procedure but I didn't bother to respond as I saw no point.

Ridiculous.
