Bouncers will kill 20's to low 30's, and become less annoying the higher up you rank.
At hero, bouncers don't deter much, but as a herald, you just boot them anyway, so they have to perma lag you to kill you.
So you can pretty easily hide in there in relative safety since you just kick them out.
And eventually those people get banned, and killing the inn guard takes a long time.

The real place to hide is in the lyceum, since people don't look for people there, and you can control your own access.
