My characters have wildly different personalities, different beliefs, different outlooks. Not all of them hate ragers, although all of them are intelligent enough to understand that ragers are dangerous psychos. In fact, I've had characters who helped ragers out (cautiously, because ragers are unstable and prone to attacking you if you drink a potion in front of them). As a player, I didn't like having to do it, but I did it because that's what my character would do.
As for emotional baggage and irrational beliefs, yes my characters have that sometimes, but they're never so one-dimensional as "kill all mages". Ex: I had a bard who distrusted elves, but was conflicted about it because he was also a goodie, and his prejudice manifested differently towards each elf he knew.
Yes, I have a very low opinion of Battle. It's just an opinion, deal with it. I don't like them, so stop suggesting I play a rager. I don't like them. I'm entitled to my irrational emotional baggage and prejudice as a player and a person. I have my right to irrationally hate Battle, and you will not take this away from me. I love hating them. I love murdering them. I love making them suffer.
Personal attacks (e.g. implying I can't roleplay) makes me think I killed your rager and you are butthurt.
