I'm assuming you want to remove any risk of dying to STSF, but maximize chance of killing STSF.
1. Find STSF.
2. Beeline STSF.
3. Murder STSF.
4. Does STSF have dam reduction of more than 25%? If yes, quaff return and start from 1 again. Else, proceed.
5. Spam direct damage until he gets to a level of hp that can go down with 1 good drum or flurry (~400 hp, about 40% of a STSF's hp).
6. If during the direct damage, he is too charged up and beats you badly, quaff return and do not fight him for 15 minutes IRL, then go back to 1. Else, proceed.
7. Warcry, flurry. Bash if you think he'll wimpy out. Drum is also decent if you're gambling for the 5-hit and you don't want to risk 4 round lag on yourself.
8. Either he's dead, or he's fled. If he's fled, do not fight him for 15 minutes IRL, then go back to 1 (assuming that it will take you quite a few rounds to get him low). If dead, go back to 1 once he unghosts.
Swap warcry for Crashing is also good. In that case, the instructions will change only in that you do not warcry at step 7, and at step 8 you loot every noremove or nodisarm he has.
Play an STSF elf warrior and you'll see just how painful it is to keep a sufficiently strong set... Only really elite players can excel with the build.
Speaking of elite, this set of instructions won't work if you come up against an elite STSF like Glikhardiz. The reason for that is that they won't engage you unprepped with you un-maledicted. Such characters are elite for a reason, they fight smart. In that case just be content that neither of you will kill the other.
