It takes a special kind of fuck to make a massive grindy game less pleasant. I fucking hate the self righteous roleplayers - it's all bullshit because it's a subjective circlejerk. It's just a way to toss rewards towards people you like while punishing people you don't like. Case in fucking point.
Korsgaard ( A good aligned dwarf ) accidently kills my dwarf ( Bubbadink level 30 ish) because I killed a dwarf (Tarus) while level 6ish to get some charred bracers 20+ hours after I killed tarus. NEver apologized or acknowledged that he fucked up and killed me. Blamed me because I was low on mana and turning me into a toad killed me. Wow bro, great imming.
Couple things.
1. Only in a masochists mind would keeping track of npc kills to "track" and "punish" people a good idea. Jesus
2. You fucking killed bubbadink, by accident because you're retarded, a PC, and wrecked a quest Bubbadink was doing to destroy a Gralikon. GREAT FUCKING JOB, you're a stellar example of what is "good", and what is "good arpee".
3. Korsgaard then demands Bubbadink, a level 30, raise 300 gold in repayment for the 2 tarus kills, (let that sink in. I have to pay for killing a guy twice.. You know, the whole reality of a guy dying twice is pretty fucking interesting), and then some goodie npc who assisted some evil npc... Because you know, that's my responsibility for knowing too.
4. At level 30, you can kill a red dragon approximately 100 times to get 300 gold. For what... ? To stroke Korsgaards epeen and get no reward.
5. I raised the 300 gold. Korsgaard course never around to receive it.
6. WHile leveling up in Arial city some fucking goodie mob assists an evil mob. I flee, cuz >OMG KORSGAARD< and a groupmate kills the goodie mob. Korsgaard kicks me out of Fortress, Drissa sucks his dick, and Aurew sucks his dick, and in general there is a gigantic Fortress circle dick sucking circle as they all re-establish how good at ARPEE they are.
7. So that's my interactions with this fucking asshat. Wanna know how much I care about your version of ARPEE? I give absoutley zero fucks. Because this is a game. This is supposed to be fun. Your kind of ARPEE is exaclty the kind of elitist asshat shit that makes this not a game, but a job. Seriously. Anyone who plays a Korsgaard should get paid $.
8. If you want to be ARPEE nazis, Go into your fucking areas and turn off all goodie mobs who autoassist evil mobs.
9. An imm who interacts by shitting on people, and forcing them into grind quests without their consent should turn around and go fuck themselves.
10. You got bigger fish to fry than a nub killing an NPC for charred bracers.. Cuz you know Daevryn the implementor cheating is a bit worse. Twist the implementor cheating is a bit worse.
11. This game is a gigantic waste of time full of all sorts of powertirpping asshats.
12. Killing tarus as a dwarf is a nub mistake. Why the fuck do So many of you asshats get your rocks off by shitting on newbies? You'll Shit on newbies, reward vets, and call it good. I can promise that had I gone through the goddamn hoops you presented I would have gotten Jack shit for reward.
13. GOt Bubbadink up to goddamn level 49 and no edges. NO EDGES> Do you fucking idiots even know how "games" and "rewards" are supposed to work ? HOLY FUCK.
