Gone for over 5 years... What's the scoop?

As the title states, been gone for over 5 or 6 years, and logged in for the first time today. The player numbers never went over 20 though, and that was during the course of what I would assume to be peak times (Saturday evening). I caught a touch of nostalgia and thought I'd see how things are going. I'd imagine that MUD's aren't really able to attract new players, given the landscape of modern day gaming.

Unlikely that I'll be able to carve out enough time in my life to have any meaningful impact on the game

But I'm interested to know what kind of major changes have occurred during that time. Went to the main page and looked around. Looks like some new races, revamped areas, maybe a couple of new areas even? Hell has been permanently closed? Shamans got some overhauling?

Anyway, just looking for some of the highlights

Thanks

One of the biggest changes is most people use the discord channel now. People hardly use the forums to discuss anything anymore.
